I won’t mention his name to save any direct embarrassment, but how is this even “kind of” ok in anyones eyes? Has the ASF just gotten so large and beurocratic that this is just what we should expect?

Update: It looks like the account in question does exist now. Thank god for that. I still hope someone important notices my tiny meaningless blog entry and tries to repair whatever is b0rken at Apache. Just imagine how excited you were to get voted in for your first OS project – and then imagine it took two months of waiting to get there. …Torture.

Jesse, you Tapestry intoxicated jerk….. what takes so long anyway is it just all waiting for Jim to check a fax machine or something?
Or is it the infrastructure list just being ridiculous. I unsubscribed from that hailstorm of email last year.
