I had been looking around for a while for a good replacement for my old clicky keyboard. Most of the ones I found either lacked sex appeal or were just obnoxiously overpriced.
It is definitely a little gimmicky and not something I would normally want to debase myself with, but aside from the annoyance of not having letters (wtf? ..) the actual engineering and feel of the thing is more than I could ask for. No more wrestling the inevitable scooting around my desk that the old keyboard did. This monster isn’t going anywhere unless it wants to.
You can stick with your boring rubber contacts if you want, but there’s nothing quite like the feel of a real mechanical switch…Mmmmmmm

Long live the clicky! I’m stuck using a Dell keyboard at work and it’s already starting to fall apart. At home, I have a large, heavy, and quite clicky, IBM keyboard. I’m guessing you bought this black keyboard, how much did it cost?
