I’m sure this is probably widely known to most people but since it was new to me I thought I’d say something.
There have been a great number of occasions over the past few years where I’ve found it extremely annoying not having a mailing list for any development efforts involving more than one person (ie myself). Most of the time I’ve always gotten BS glazed over looks from lazy sysadmins or have just been too lazy myself to bother saying it because I’m tired of sounding like a broken record..
When the thought occurred to me this last time I decided to go look at google groups for shits and giggles and eureka! Privately managed groups are only a couple clicks away.
If you do any consulting at all or just need a mailing list and can’t get the right wheels turning I highly recommend trying http://groups.google.com out.
Damnit…Just when I was starting to halfway be convinced google was turning a little sour I notice the little things like this..
